Unexpected Horse Farm Find.

After dropping my son off at school this weekend I went barn hunting on my drive home.  I was in Southern New Hampshire and got lost driving a class 6 road when I came down the side of a big hill on to a gravel driveway which turned out to be the back side of a horse farm. 

I saw horses in a field so I stopped thinking it would be a good picture.  I took this first picture with the fence then all the horses seemed to notice me and ran away. I wasn't very close so I'm not sure why they took off.  They ran from my left to right disappearing over a hill.

I didn't want to walk around without permission and didn't see anyone until I came to the road so continued my barn hunting.
